Based on the true story of Grzegorz Płonka (played by Michał Sikorski — an outstanding performance in his first film role), a talented disabled pianist, nicknamed "the Beethoven of Murzasichle." The nickname is no mistake, as the great German composer — and his Moonlight Sonata in particular — becomes the object of young Grzegorz's fascination. All this after only being exposed to the unique world of sound when he was a teenager. It turned out that his communication problems weren’t caused by autism, as a first diagnosis suggested, but by a hearing impairment. With a hearing aid and a lot of determination — both his own and his parents' — Grzegorz dreams of becoming a pianist and performing with an orchestra in a concert hall, in front of a real audience. Not many people believe that his goal can be achieved, but for Grzegorz nothing is impossible. Breaking through barriers, overcoming limitations, and taking advantage of the power of dreams – these are the main themes of Bartosz Blaschke's feature debut. A film full of warmth, empathy and selfless faith in another human being.
