“Connections – No One Is an Island” invites you to join an interactive global journey through the Coronavirus era, through the emotions that connect us all.
September 7th and 8th, 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm, Potocki Palace, Rynek Główny 20 (The director and producer will be present at the screenings and facilitate a conversation afterwards, for those who want to stay)
Closed borders, lockdowns and subsequent restrictions separated us during the epidemic. For a long time, loneliness and a longing for contact with others were all too familiar feelings. We were all isolated in our own spaces. With the introduction of vaccination, we finally began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The time has come to start crossing boundaries, processing this experience together, and looking to the future. You are invited to connect with others by joining an interactive global journey through the Coronavirus era. We have recorded over three hundred stories together with the co-authors from all over the world. They provide intimate windows into human lives and how they have changed as a result of external circumstances. “Connections – No One Is an Island” is a novel interactive multiplayer film inspired by the pandemic. Each participant becomes a member of a nine-person group who interact with the video together and shape this journey together as they move through the various emotional phases of the pandemic. The presented version of the project is an ever-evolving and unfinished work.
The event will be held in English and requires a basic level of written English to participate as part of the interacting audience.
Free admission, limited seating!
