Netia Off Camera invites you to its 10th birthday. Guests from all over the world, best films of the year, highest prizes in this part of Europe - Netia Off Camera has been promoting independent cinema for a decade, appreciating creators speaking their own language. The celebration of cinematic diversity starts in Krakow on 28th April.

The tenth edition of the Festival marks a change in the visual identity to a more modern and minimalist one. The poster recalls the iconic Festival statuette - film projection. The many symbolic 'screen' stand both for the many Festival screenings (over 200) and for many places and points of view - cinema on the riverside, on the barge, on the rooftops and in city squares, those are just some of the upcoming attractions. What else is in store for cinema lovers?

The 10th edition brings two new special section. "Till Death Do Us Apart" sets out to prove that is possible to creatively reinvent melodrama, and that we all long for romance stories. "The Future Starts Now" is an invitation to contemplate the future, which, as in the famous The Doors Song, is sooner and closer than we all think. The films in "The Strong Sex" touch upon everything that moves, fascinates, entertains, bothers, and frustrates modern women. What's important to them, what they fight for, what they need to overcome? The last new section is "Are People Fiction?", forcing a new point of view on human condition around the world and all the things we used to look at as deviant. The section's name comes from a popular Facebook page ridiculing the overwrought post-humanist academic theories. The filmmakers in this section approach issues and dilemmas in ways that are satirical and sarcastic, scary and foreboding, or completely serious. Netia Off Camera will also present its traditional sections, like "American Indies," "Discoveries," "Best of Fest", or "Catching Up." Ten films in the Polish Feature Film Competition competes for the PLN 300 000 Kulczyk Foundation Award. The winning film will be announced on May 6th during the Closing Gala. On the same night we will also learn who wins the main prize - USD 100 000 and the Krakow Film Award in the Main Competition 'Making Way.'

Off Stage is also returning in the 10th edition. Complementing the film festival with concerts is like setting score to a film. Seven Festival evenings mark seven unique musical meetings. On May the 1st we start with Dillon.

The Festival audience can meet filmmakers and stars at the numerous Q&As and in the Cinema Village build on Szczepański Square.

See you in Krakow, 28th April to 7th May.
